Our surgery phones are covered by the out of hours service daily between 1pm and 2pm.
Calls during this time will not be answered by the surgery.
In order for our phone provider to investigate our ongoing complaints about the phone system, they have requested that we provide examples of the issues our patients are experiencing.

Always call 999 in a Medical Emergency
If you need advice about a problem, please contact your local pharmacy or 111. They may be able to offer you treatment, or they will signpost you to the most appropriate services. This may mean you are asked to attend a walk-in centre.
For minor injuries, including animal bites/wounds, please contact our local Minor Injuries Unit at Trafford General Hospital 0161 748 4022, or attend your local Accident and Emergency Department.

Home Visits
If you are too ill to come to the Surgery, a home visit can be arranged. Doctors will only visit patients if medically indicated - the doctor may ask you to attend the Surgery.
If you require a home visit please telephone the surgery in the morning.
Telephone Advice
If you wish to speak to a doctor/nurse a message can be left with the receptionist and the doctor/nurse will call you back when available.
Please Note: Staff cannot discuss results with patients - you must arrange to see your doctor.
Disabled Access
The Practice has parking and a wheelchair ramp at the side of the building. The practice staff are more than happy to assist you if you encounter any difficulties. Toilet facilities are also available.
Repeat Prescriptions
If your doctor agrees, you may obtain a repeat prescription by giving 48 hours notice (excluding weekends). Allow extra time for prescriptions which are required by post and include a stamped addressed envelope.
We now offer online repeat prescriptions as an additional service. Please call at the surgery and request to enrol for this service. You will be given a designated pin and ID number to use online. The details of your request will be sent to the surgery by email. Please give 48 hours (excluding weekends) for collection of your prescription.
Requests for repeat prescriptions cannot be taken over the telephone for medico-legal reasons.
Patient Group
It is important that we listen to and understand the veiws and ideas of patients who use our services. By completing a simple on-line questionnaire patients will be encouraged to give their views about how the Practice is doing. The informaton gained will make an important contribution to areas including:

Out Of Hours Calls
For serious medical emergencies which require immediate attention, such as severe chest pain, breathing difficulties or bleeding you should dial 999.
For medical problems which cannot wait until the Surgery re-opens, please telephone NHS 111.

We offer free NHS healthchecks and are proud to be the leader in this service in Manchester. This is a basic health check which includes:

Access to Records
Under the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018, patients are entitled to request full copies of their medical records. This is commonly known as a Subject Access Request (SAR).
Whilst this service is usually free of charge, the surgery reserves the right to charge a reasonable fee for a SAR if the request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
